Great Falls Model Railroad Club

Welcome to the Great Falls Model Railroad Club of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine.

Our purpose is to help promote model railroading as a hobby and an opportunity for community outreach. The club’s main focus is to help educate, not only from our members’ knowledge of model railroading but also for the public’s safety at railroad crossings and on railroad right-of-way areas through our involvement in Operation Lifesaver.

We are a 501c(3) organization so donations are tax-deductible.

Most members come from the Lewiston-Auburn area, but everyone is welcome to join.

Surplus Inventory Sale

The fifth annual Surplus Inventory sale will take place at the Great Falls Model Railroad Club on Saturday, December 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each year the club acquires large quantities of rolling stock, locomotives, and structures. Many of the items available for sale have never been displayed at any of our shows.

Are you looking for the perfect gift for a friend or relative who likes trains? Would you like to add to your own railroad book collection or to your personal model railroad empire? This is a great way to improve your model railroad collection at very reasonable prices.

Whether you’re buying items for display or for your own layout or to give as Christmas presents, we hope you will join us on December 8 for the Surplus Inventory Sale.
